What to Submit

Photo essays should contain 3-5 photographs, to which you own the rights. The essay should have one focus, either a specific location (point of interest, city, country) or theme (graffiti, street food). For each photograph, include a brief, descriptive caption so that readers know what they are seeing. Lastly, include a bio, 2-3 sentences long, with a link to your website to use as a preface to the post.

Please review our previous photo essays for reference before submitting. Do not submit photos that are geographically or thematically similar to recent posts.

After you have reviewed the guidelines above, email your photos to [contact] at [tortugabackpacks] dot com with “PHOTO ESSAY” in the subject. We will respond as soon as possible.
