The international aiport (SPU) is 30 minutes from Split’s core (old town).

There are currently no trains or metros operating in Split.



Promet (public bus) line 37 will drop you off at Bus Terminal Sukoišan in Old Town

“Airport Taxi Split” are safe and easy to use

Shuttle Bus

Pleso Transport airport shuttle buses drop  off at Autobusni kolodvor Split, closer to the port and Riva)

Cost: 30 HRK


Uber is  reliable in Split. At the airport, pick upfrom the parking lot directly across from arrivals

Major cell carriers: T-Hrvatski Telekom, Vip, Tele2

Tele2 has the best LTE coverage and offers the lowest prepaid rates


Split Airport has free WiFi.

SIM Cards are available from kiosks around the city (& the newspaper stand in the SPU airport)
